Monthly Update for June 2026 for the Witton & Rudheath Ward Anti-Social Behaviour Report of youths playing knock and run on Salkeld Street, no details provided of the youths and no known CCTV to help identify those involved.Two reports of youths throwing items and kicking footballs at windows at properties on Danefield Road and then being abusive when challenged by residents. Some of the youths have been identified and are due to be visited.Report of an electric scrambler bike being razzed around Vickersway. Those involved had left prior to patrols attending.Burglary Report received of 3 suspects accessing a container on the building site on Hargreaves Road. Details of a vehicle involved provided, this was stopped on Middlewich Road, and following a search of the vehicle 3 suspects arrested. The vehicle contained several new property doors. The investigation continuesTheft Report of a parcel being taken from outside a business premises on Gadbrook Business Park. The incident has been reported to the courier company, to progress the matter.Report of youths taking alcohol and not making payment for it from GK Stores. CCTV provided, suspects haven’t been identified and are believed to all be under 18.Report of a pedal cycle being stolen at Vickerways Park.Road Safety Vehicle stop check on Gadbrook Road the driver provided a negative drugs wipe.Vehicle stop check on Gadbrook Road, enquiries established the driver was not insured and has been reported. The vehicle was collected by the owner.Speed Enforcement conducted on Griffiths Road, no offences were captured whilst at the location.Vehicle stop check on Parkfield Road, the driver provided a positive drugs wipe and arrested. The investigation continues. Parking/highway Obstructions Report of vehicles obstructing the footpath and parked on double yellow lines outside Rudheath Social Club. Weekly Police Surgeries The surgeries covering both Witton & Rudheath and Shakerley areas will be held on Thursday 30th July, at Lostock Green Church, Birches Lane, Green between 11am – 12pm as part of the Community Hub. Wednesday 5th August, at The Venue, Gadbrook Road, Rudheath between 5pm – 6pm. Thursday 13th August, on Hulme Lane, Lower Peover, A Police vehicle will be parked near to The Country Store, between 5pm - 6pm. Tuesday 18th August, at Costa Coffee, Cheshire Avenue, Lostock Gralam between 10am – 11am. Everyone is welcome to come along to say hello and discuss any local issues or concerns.
